Annual Vehicle Pass is Required to Enter Compost Center: To receive a 2021 vehicle pass in the mail, the following must be submitted: Name, Address, Phone Number, Driver’s License Number, Signature, and Check made out to the “City of Grand Ledge” ($40.00 for City of Grand Ledge residents or $125.00 for non-residents). Vehicle pass stickers will be mailed to the address included with the check within 48 hours of receipt. Passes must be affixed to the bottom left portion of the vehicle’s windshield to enter the Compost Center. If you sell your vehicle or have the windshield replaced, please remove the existing sticker (as much of it as can be removed) and bring it to City Hall where it can be replaced at no charge. Passes will not be available for purchase at the Compost Center and are only available by submitting the required information to City Hall. Stickers can also be purchased by visiting the walk-up window at City Hall, 310 Greenwood Street, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
PLEASE NOTE: Per MDHHS October 9, 2020 - Executive Order, visitors are encouraged to wear face coverings and must follow the six-foot social distancing guidelines when utilizing the Compost and Recycling Centers. In addition, a limited number of vehicles will be allowed into the Compost Center and the Recycling Center at one time. Please obey the posted stop signs at the entrances and the attendants signaling when vehicles may enter.
